The CEO of Melan Consults & Projects Limited Nigeria, Nicole Njoku is a first-class graduate of Political Science and International Relations from Valdosta State University, Georgia USA. After her undergraduate degree, she bagged her Masters’ in Public Administration at Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service, New York University, New York. During this time, she acquired years of international experience in the Human Resources firms she worked for. She also earned her globally accredited Professional in Human Resources, International edition (PHRi) from the Human Resources Chartered Institute (HRCI). Amongst all these, she has a certificate in Hospitality Management from Florida Atlantic University, Florida USA which she has applied to the hospitality outfits where she was the Principal Consultant. While she is a young and established businesswoman, she is also a social impact leader; the Founder of SOW Africa, Convener of LASP Nigeria and Director of The Shine Project, Nigeria. She has also consulted for state governments in the areas of hospitality/tourism policies, youths’ empowerment and girl child welfare initiatives.
Shuttling between Nigeria and the United States, she has successfully established Melan Consults to provide innovative and up to date Human Resource Management services to small and medium enterprises in Nigeria with a focus on people management and recruiting the right talents for productivity and growth. As an independent consultant, she brings over 5 years’ experience in Human Resources Management, Public policy and Business strategy to the projects she is involved with. Her international exposure and experiences have enabled her to provide added value and versatility in the consultation, advisory and management roles she occupies.
